On behalf of the organizing committee of 10th PITO,it is a great pleasure to welcome all of you in Surabaya. This event is an Indonesian Annual Otology Scientific Meeting which will be held on November 26-28, at the JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya.I would like to inform that this occasion we have a theme: OTOLOGY UPDATE : “FROM BASIC TO CLINICAL PRACTICE”.
There will be many interesting topics we will discuss, especially on the basics of otology sciences and the following applications at clinical practice.The scientific program will consist of special lectures, plenaries, symposium, workshop, and instructional courses on otology, neurotology, and community-ENT which will be delivered by local and foreign speakers; and also free paper competition for ORL-HNS residents as the encouragement to young doctors to upgrade their competency.
Temporal bone dissection (TBD) in conjunction with live demo and workshop of vertigo will take place at post congress. A detail scientific program is in progress and will be coming soon.The website we built is going to be regularly updated until the date of event, and hopefully it will provide you with most and actual information.
Surabaya as the second biggest city in Indonesia is well known by its good city design and supported by several facilities necessary to the civilization and also so many the deligh full cuisines must be try. Finally, our sincerest hope that this congress will bring us together to share in common goal of advancing and developing the field of otology.
